Entrepreneurship Program Specialist
(Part time, 12-month term position)

The Entrepreneurship Program Specialist professionally facilitates the delivery and coordination of AWE’s business growth programs. This role is a will also advise and cultivates relationships with entrepreneurs in Alberta. This role collaborates with team members to deliver an excellent client experience that provides connection and capacity building education.
AWE offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, making it possible for candidates located outside of Calgary or Edmonton to apply. This part-time position is for maternity leave coverage, with an expected 24 hours per week. The specific hours can be arranged with the successful candidate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Facilitate AWE’s business growth programs
Ensure collaborative client relationships are in place
Understand entrepreneurial client needs
Provide relevant advice and connections to resources
Conduct/Oversee program intake process and interviews
Engage with program participants on the communications platform
Deliver programs/coordinate delivery by partners or contractors (travel may be required)
Deliver one-on-one client service and business advising with a focus on building the entrepreneurs capacity in executing their business growth strategies
Develop and implement program and/or project plans including budgets, resourcing and skillset needs, measurement and feedback plan, and reporting
Contribute to the development and implementation of the program’s sustainability strategy
Accurately collect client data to support service and reporting requirements
Assist with developing and executing program marketing
Create relevant client-focused content for use in various communications
Report on client satisfaction and identify potential areas for improvement in client service
Represent AWE at events, conferences, etc. as needed

Skilled group facilitator, able to engage a group virtually, eager to connect and share ideas
Group facilitation
Entrepreneurial thinker
Business advising and/or coaching
Proficient and knowledgeable in contemporary digital technology tools essential for today's business environment
Critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving
Written and verbal communication, business and relationship development abilities
Ability to take initiative and demonstrate professionalism
Time management and organizational skills
Self-motivated and accountable
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Entrepreneurial experience is preferred
Post-secondary degree in business administration or equivalent business growth or scaling experience
Demonstrated experience in client relationship management
Program development and management experience
Strong understanding of small business leadership and operations
Considered Assets:
Entrepreneurial experience, specifically in growing or scaling a business
Facilitation and program delivery experience
Advising or mentorship experience
Bilingualism in English and French
