Growing Greener Innovations

Connie Stacey is the founder and president of Growing Greener Innovations, Inc. (GGI). Connie holds a BA from the University of Alberta and brings 20 years of experience from the IT/computer programming sectors to her work at GGI. She founded GGI in 2014 with a desire to create a better generator--silent, no fumes, no carbon emissions. Upon developing the patented GRENGINE™ solar battery generator, she expanded her patented design into the battery energy storage sector. 

Connie is on the steering committee of NAIT’s Centre for Grid Innovation, has received Global Woman of Vision and World Changing Women awards, and is a frequent speaker at clean technology, energy and women in tech events. She was named to this year’s Top 50 Change-makers list by the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business, and GGI has recently been awarded a U.S. Defense Innovation Award, CGLCC Business of the Year award, and a CANIEs Product Innovation Award.
