Bev is a member of Montreal Cree Nation, in northern Saskatchewan. With a business background, she brings over twenty years experience focused on Indigenous inclusion through economic development, business and education. Her experience developed by working closely with stakeholders that includes governments, industry, non-for-profits and communities. These efforts have contributed to the following successful initiatives at local, regional and national levels.
With Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, as project lead has oversight for the “Next Step to Success Business Planning” Series for Indigenous women in First Nation’s communities across Alberta. As project lead, she has led the Strengthening Partnership Impact Model with 70+ organizations dedicated to entrepreneurial development across Alberta. With First Nation’s – she’s dedicated her career in building capacity for economic participation in areas of business, education and employment.
And as the mother of 3 daughters, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with them in the outdoors -hiking, reading, and travelling.
