Patricia Isaza is a Senior Business Developer at the BDC with more than 25 years of combined experience in banking, risk management, international trade, clean energy and telecommunications. A passionate relationship builder, she has a proven record of coaching and advising clients and colleagues alike, to help them achieve their goals and reach their potential.

A top-performing account manager, Patricia doesn’t like to boast about her success because for her it is all about doing what is best for the entrepreneur and their business. She brings a track record of integrity and dedication to every client meeting, and clients gravitate to her creative solutions, quick wit and infectious laugh. Armed with a master’s degree in Finance, Patricia excels at advising entrepreneurs about financing options, and her large local network in the financial industry enables her to connect clients with resources that make the most sense for their business.

Patricia’s parents are hardworking entrepreneurs in Colombia, and she became an entrepreneur herself before making the move to Canada with her family. Today she leverages those lessons in her conversations with clients to celebrate their successes, discuss challenges and discover how BDC can assist them. When she’s not helping business owners, Patricia cooks up mouthwatering Colombian dishes for her kids, and you can try catching her while she and her husband run around their neighbourhood chasing their dog, Pepper.
